Alocasia Bambino
The Bambino is a smaller version of its cousin the Alocasia Amazonica. It has beautiful green arrow-shaped leaves that are purple underneath and have a bright, stylish venation. Although found in tropical & subtropical areas around the planet, they are mostly native to South-East Asia.
Position:
Keep in moderate to bright indirect light in a warm environment, Alocasias do not like the cold.
Water:
Regularly but let the soil dry out between waterings. Make sure the soil is free-draining but hold enough moisture for the plant. Bambino needs above-average humidity, so mist the leaves regularly or keep it near a kitchen or bathroom.
Feed:
Monthly during the spring and summer with a water-soluble plant food such as seaweed and/or fishbone.
